This is who I feel like right now. I am just a G R O U C H! I struggle with this time of year. Much of it is lack of S U N S H I N E! Not only that, I W O R R Y! My middle name, ya know? And, I am not suppose to worry, I am supposed to "believe" in the MAN, but dang it,that is so stinking hard when we are human living in this day and age! blah blah blah! ok, i am done with my pitty party!

Microwave Popcorn in a bag.....

who knew? I found this over at make and takes.

Simply put.....

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:
  1. Put 1/4 cup popcorn in a brown paper bag. Fold top over a few times and tape it.
  2. Place in microwave folded side upfor 2 to 3 minutes or until there is 5 seconds between pops.
  3. Eat plain or add flavors (such as salt, butter, sugar, etc.)
Thanks for the idea M&T.

Tucker the Turtle

This summer when we went home to visit family, Noah got to play with the Aunties turtle. He was so fascinated with him. He carried him everywhere with him and then got a piece of paper and drew tucker and his home. I am always fascinated by him, he always recreates his experiences on paper. He brought home some school work and I flipped it over and saw that he had drawn the opossum that he had seen this summer. Of course, that is going in the old scrapbook too. I love that both of my children love to draw and they are really good at it too!

Cards....

a couple cards I have made recently. the one above here with the cherries is from one of my favorite stamps sets from PTI, Everyday Button Bits, it is so so so cute. who doesn't love buttons? I made these cards for the people that brought us meals when he had the "oink oink".
this sweet card was made from the Paper Pups cartridge for the Cricut for my neighbor who had to put her fur baby down this last week.

Halloween stuff

a card for a sweet friend. made with the cricut and the cuttlebug. i love my bugs so very much. AND, i used the MS spiderweb punch. it is kind of difficult to figure out, but so cool when I did figure it out.
these were little hot chocolate packets that I made for Olivia's preschool friends and then, I made some for Noah's party favors. I used the drippy goo punch and the batty for you, Stampin up Set. I love that stamp set. So cute. I just wish I had a purple stamp pad. How can that be, I don't have purple ink? Walmart had the Halloween marshmallows which was my inspiration for this little project. I tucked in a hot chocolate packet and some chocolate eyeballs. I had to laugh, I gave them to the kids for Noah's bday favor, and the kids were like, "what is this?" ripped it open to get to the eyeballs, *sigh* all that work! LOL! The mom's and dad's didn't even get to see them all pkgd up.

HALLOWEEN 2009

while taking this picture above of miss O. I got pooped on by a bird. It was hilarious. I looked up HIGH in the tree and sure enough, there is a morning dove wiggling his behind.

So, Noah went in and got his toy shotgun and was gonna get him in the behind.

We have a clone trooper.......

and a PURPLE fairy of course. we weren't sure if this little lady was going to be able to go out. she had a 102 fever earlier today. before we went she was down to 98. i don't quite understand what is going on with her.

This pumpkin has been painted, carved and potato headed.

While we were home I picked up some Martha Stewart Mouse Silhouette's, they are so cute!

The 2nd Happiest Place on earth...IMO!

Last weekend we went home for a super fast weekend. While we were there, Bryan went to a Husker game and Grandpa took the kids and I to my most favorite place to go in the fall - Vala's Pumpkin Patch.

Vala's Makes a to die for Caramel Apple. My absolute most favorite treat.
